3 weeks to D-day
This is a cruical period to the event at the end of the month. Training wise, I need to focus on the stuffs on hand and don't get distracted. If anyone see me acting like zombie, please ignore me.
Apart from the usual cycle and weights throughout the entire weekdays. Monday, i went to clementi track for a workout. Didnt do particularly well, the weather isn't co-operative and i did about 1-2 sets before calling it off for the day. Tuesday i had a climb of 12 sets of 40 stories = 480 stories. Wednesday felt the tight thighs and decide to take a break and meet some folks at SP track, thanks to Bala, i have a free chingteng as he finally struck GOLD in IPPT. Thursday was at MF for 1 Big x 2 small loops(on the top of MF), it is around 13km ba. Friday went over to Chanbros to book the tickets to New York. Saturday had a good run at MR with Emelyn, Marcus, Yingzi, Simon & Poh. The ladies did well, despite their first attempt. I did 25km.
I am off for my first BG run on Sunday, after feeling okay from Saturday run. It was a big crowd and quite a few of old faces. The run is the same route i did for Mt kk training runs(earlier part), and i am familiar with the route. Left leg muscles feel abit stress around 6th avenue, but didnt flare up and complete the run pretty okay. I should be able to do more BG run in the future, provide it is about 10km.
I need to focus and not slack during the next couple of weeks as built up go into overdrive.
