CBD - revisit
A series of SMSes with Tiwazz around 6:30pm and the fate is sealed.
Flu still get better of myself since a couple of weeks back and still ..... didn't feel fully well after AHM. Left knee injury seems going to flare out anytime soon. I feel like i am walking on a tight rope.
I was thinking of going for track workout on Tuesday evening to get some speedworks. I feel i am losing too much speed at this moment.
Realised that driver's runner potentially aren't going to make it for cbd, i sms tiwazz for updates before leaving for Clementi stadium. Well, i left office carpark at 6:38pm and reached TP MRT at 7pm.
There are a lot of runners awaiting there. Quite a few of familiar faces and likewise alot of unknown faces.
There are changes since i last ran with CBD gang. First group of runners promptly ran off lead by stfu. 2nd group and 3rd group despatch by tiwazz shortly. I follow the last group. Wasn't myself to be the "last runner"? That was history i guess.
I chitchat with imd along the initial stage. We split when we reached Marina jetty. I went to the loo to relieve myself. I was suppose to head towards Clementi for speedworks initially and didnt visit the loo prior to leaving office. My left knee feel like going to flare out and i didnt bring along my knee guard. Weighing the option, i decided to take the shortcut back to TP.
As expected, i was the first runner back. I guess i did about 6km. I went over to 7-11 for Isotonic drinks, but it didn't have the 1.2litre bottles. No choice i ran across to NTUC a couple of hundreds meter away. I guess with someone(dripping water), queuing for 10mins inside NTUC counter, should be an interesting sight for those evening shoppers.
I came back to the car and we have about 10 runners back and doing their stretching.
Slowly, more runners returned. I have a good time speaking to some runners and sharing gossips and AHM experiences.
We have some goodies from Bee's trip in England.
The run end with the groups going for makan at Maxwell market. I went my own way as usual.
