The elite at the events, from Mexico, Spain, Italy, Czeh, Venuseula and others are very friendly. You can speak to them and take pictures with them as though they are like a normal person. Unlike some event, you don't even know who/where the hell they are until the race start!!!

Veteran and Ladies standard are pretty closed. Ladies and Veteran winners are less than 1min apart.

Ladies 3-4 winners are "decided" before hand. Both came back almost holding hands. Very suspicious.

The kenyan that got 6th postition at last year SCSM05 was there, i meet him around 1km mark after he had U-turn, claim that he is injure. Sim tells me the kenyan complains that this is not his type of run and u-turn back at 2km mark.

Heard that there are 2 fatalities last year on this event. 1 was killed due to hyperthermia, the other fell over the cliff.

1 male veteran runner from cebu-skyrunner-fitness first did the run on both days. Came in 2nd on day 1(Veteran) and 18 on day 2(Men Opens)

This is the 5th year for Mount Kinabalu for Skyrunner event, it means this will cease to be Skyrunner event(series) until next bidding round. When is it? Nobody knows.
