Tigger goes NUS

Heard the hills at NUS are good training ground. Given the fact that Tigger roam the wild for decades, hills are like second natural to him. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Tigger joined our xiao di dang running team for a taste of the hills at NUS today. Apart from the doraemon tag team, there are ronnie, swoop, fennel, imd, hoho and a friend of the tag team.

We started off the hill run around 7:10pm after the briefing from Doreen. To be honest, tigger only acknowledge the word PCP(Prince Edward Park), that is halfway point. After PCP, there are quite a few slopes along the way. Shouldn't be too tough for tigger. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Tktan and Ronnie shot forward with swoop close behind. Tigger just stroll along towards Haw Par Villa. Hmm...After Haw Par villa turn left will go up the slopes toward Science Park. It will be a good climb. Alas, the route wasn't what i precieve to be, slighly up the slope, we turn into Telok Blangah hill. Wow didn't expect the slope to be this steep! Anyway tigger did manage to crawl up the hill.

We have a water break in Science Park. It was a good flat road for a fair part of the road here. Subsequently turn towards NUS, there are quite a few humps going up and down throughout. I already abit disorientated with the twist and turn inside. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting My left leg is showing some sign of pain.

Tigger is looking for the 1/2 half point -PCP . I think i better stop the run rather than risk injury as KL pacesetters 30k is just round the corner. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting I couldn't find PCP and keep on running. Until the time i realised that we have already overshoot the mid point, it was too late and we are heading for the end from another route. That's is fate i guess. Thanks to Doreen for slowing down to guide us on the direction and hohorunner to be there accompany me at the back. Tigger have an enjoyavle run. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Will look forward to more NUS run in the future. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
