Night Run - MR ?

Experienced my first darkness run in MR! Haha...it was fun running with torch!

I am helping Kelly to train for her SA 50 miles race. Her run will include running in the night and across many streams! At 5:40am,pick kelly up at Shunfu and reached MR at 5:50am.

We changed and make sure our gear is in order, before we start off at 6:05am in total darkness from the northen route. Kelly suppose to wear a headlamp but she can't find a torch and have to use her HP torch! I bring along a typical torch from the car.

Running alone can be pretty scarry, but running together is okay. Kelly run in front while i keep a close second behind. Such combination allow her to run her pace, while i just tag behind. We come out of the trail in 28 mins.

We are doing 25km MR TT route today. We run slowly, take pictures and enjoy ourself. We reach Pierce Reservior on the return loop with Bee waiting to join us. 3 of proceed to go into Rifle Range Road. It is getting interesting as we chit chat and laugh along. Aiyoh the 2 ladies keep asking for "discount"! Ronnie manage to catch up and run together after the 25km U-Turn point near the army camp.

Bee is nursing an injury so she slow down and run with Ronnie, whereas i proceed to run behind kelly, coaxing her to complete 25km. The newly couple TMM, so didn't go and disturb them anymore! Haha.

Although Kelly lack pace, but her endurance and determination is very strong. When the going get tough, she can bite it through!

After 4:17hr, we manage to reach the end point! Too Buay, and Too Kua had wash up and slacking at one corner! WTF, these two hor, took a shortcut behind my back! Very clever indeed! Comsic come back early as he did <20km(he took a short cut somewhere, coudn't recall) as he have not done such long distance for quite sometime.

We waited for about 10-15 mins and shocked to see Ronnie holding on to Bee gingerly walking back! Bee's Tee is smear with blood, there are cuts on her faces! We quickly go across and get Ronnie and Bee wash up and proceed to send them to Mount Alvenia A&E.

After washing up, proceed with Francis across to Mount Alvenia. Last i heard, she was patched up and send back home to rest.
