Tigger show - II (Update)

Has been looking forward to have some sort of water certification for a long time. Due to the coming Legs and Paddle event, which i am taking part, it have sort of rekindle the fire for water sports. Manage to jio a few kaki that are interested in Kayak and off we register for the course over this weekend.

Kayak 1 star course is conducted over 2 days. The class is about 20 users, which have 3 trainers attached. We learned about theory of kayak. How to make Kayak, move front/back/sideways, Immediate halt, capsize drills and some other minor strokes to aid the handling the kayak.

It was a hot day at Kallang Seaports. The group is about slightly more boys than girls. Yes, i means boys & girls! 4 of us like the older uncle/aunty(or teachers!) over there. The 4 of us, Roentgen, Balasing, Kickjazz and myself have full of laugther throughout the course. All the while, somehow the mind keep thinking of foods! Maybe a sign of old age! I do not believe those secondary school kids will have food in mind when they are having fun!

Kayak is difficult to handle than canoe IMHO. I have work with Canoe and Dingy during secondary school days during OBS(Outward Board School). I couldn't recall it to be these challenging during that time. Or maybe when you are young, you are better to adapt to change easier.

We have lunch at beach road market. It was pretty fun watching lokun going around asking which is the cheapest sandal they have on the shelf!

Lokun make history again for not having paying his carpark due! Haha...must be the evil twin of tigger that coax him to do it...:p

Someone was so FAT...opps...legs was damn long! that it is a hugh challenge to go into the cockpit! Ended up must get a kayak that have some of the internal "organs" take out! How come there isn't any ang moh size kayak here?

KJ was swimming faster on the 50 meters swim test than 3 of us! Wah sah, say no confidence! then swim so fast hor! Bad KJ.

Someone also spolit her sandal during the course...$60+ fles away...:)

We knock after 3pm+, which suited everyone....:p....

We wash up and proceed to Tigger show - III
