Wedding - Peck Chong & Susan
6th May 2007 is the wedding of Peck Chong & Susan.
What is so special? Well, this is the wedding of my brother-in-law. Sweetheart have 2 younger brothers, Peck Chong is the elder. Being the Elder is the "boss" of the family! Well, i didnt know that until i get married! Since it is not my native culture to recognise the this practise.:)
Went over to pick up Susan family around 9:15am at Bishan, before heading for another stop at AMK and proceed to Changi Village Hotel. Had a very caution and slow drive over to Changi Point, since there is someone following the car behind...:(
Finally reached the hotel around 10:30am! What a relief! There is quite a crowd outside the ballroom when i arrived. The usual wedding crew is there and the usual suspect of the relatives from both side.
It is nice to see so many familiar faces and an opportunity or sort for gathering of the family members(though not everybody is present due to one reason or another).
I have to take the traditional Lim-Tea session. Abit paiseh, still not use to it. The tea is pretty sweet, likewise to the Ang Pow! Hehe.....i drank the entire cup...taste good...;)
I don't have many opportunity to attend noon wedding appointment. I find it interesting to have cocktail drinks with some light snack before the actual event. I don't recall i have light snack during cocktail the last time i attend noon wedding, many years back.
I'm already full leow before the actual wedding started! Hehe....Pig lah...:)
Watching the wedding montage bring back many memories. The short movie clips are make up of the happy moments for the couple. I can't help thinking something negative. Well, don't dwell on it.
To be fair, the food wasn't that great. The service is pretty bad. I was alarm about some of the staff action towards providing different standards.
I took alot of pictures and have good laugh at times. It was great.
Congratulation to Peck Chong & Susan. I wait for the piglet by the end of the year...Oink...Oink...:)
Picture of the event are here.
