Tao Sa Bao / Pui-ed
Tao Sa Bao shrink leow! Brought it at the hawker center this morning, didn't realise that the size have shrink! Some more cost me 60cents! Damn it! Now i have to take 2 Tao Sa Bao to address my craving when the time come....Ahhhhh.........
Woke up with much aching from yesterday workouts, which is a surprise. DOM? Let see how it goes in the afternoon.
Water was cold this morning in the pool. *shivering*....
Don't feel like swimming this morning. I want to get out of the pool and head for nearest kopitiam and have breakfast! Somewhere is just not right, can't really pinpoint the location. :( After 4 sets of 200 meters, switch to a "slower" breastroke for the rest of the 2km swim. That was what i told myself. Need to switch over to breastroke and get use to it, anyway, i am going to use it as the primary stroke for the coming events.
As usual the pacer uncle gonna lap me as i switch to breastroke. In fact he overtook me for a short few meters when suddenly i find myself swim on par with him! Laps after laps he will be on freestyle, while i am on the other and we go buddy swim together. I get faster and faster and eventually at the end of 2km swim, i have a lead of 1/2 the pool over uncle. 48mins for 2km. First time dip under 50mins for 2km and it is primarily on breastroke. Once again, it shows my breastroke is stronger than my freestyle...or rather my freestyle strokes have serious flaw and require major correction!
Legs abit aching on the swim, breathing is okay. I guess the legs condition isn't there due to lack of practice.
Did another 500 meters free and 100 meters breaststroke to warm down and calling it a day at the pool.
Do breastroke for tri event is okay. Unfortunately it uses same muscles that is required for running. At what rate of damage will this cause? Conditioning.
Don't know how the body will react to the run tonight.

I wanted to run in the evening. Weather isn't that good the whole day alternatively is to go for SPIN. At least that was the plan. Since the whole day i am stuck at site office.
On the other hand, i dun feel like having any workout. I dun want to swim/run/bike/weights. It is more of a mental matter and maybe some part of it will be physical tiredness.
I don't know is that fate or wat, I left site office at 6:20pm, which practically means i won't be able to make it for the run. Thought about SPIN, but at the end decide to take the easy way out and follow colleagues to a project dinner.
I didn't expect to be at the dinner, though i am invited. The food is okay. The drinks, can't remember the brand, i have 2 glass. The glass is very hugh. Hehe...1/2 litre one glass! haha, i have 1 litre of "water" more for that 1 hour...! I think i put more weighs today! Haha...
It was a good gathering and get to know some of my colleagues better.
