死路一条

It was early wee of the morning when the alarm rang. Time to wake up! Not just myself, but also our fellow piglets.

I couldn't believe myself that i am SMSing at 3am+ in the morning trying to get the lazy and nuah too out from their respective sty! When i become a nanny?

Picked up Lan Zhu and Babytoo on the way to meet the rest at ECP this morning. Tham Jiak too is there waiting for us when we reached on the dot 4:15am

Soon we are joined by Ba Kwa, Babyboy Too, Seo Too, Too Tao and Too Kia.

We started off 12 mins late, Must hamtum the last 2 too next time. "extra " for them?

We head towards Coastal Road - aka 死路一条. Why is 死路一条, well you have to ask our Head why? Hehe.

It was a good morning, sea breeze cooling us as we ran towards NSRCC. We have a pit stop at the last toilet before we head into the long journey towards Changi Point.

We ran on the newly laid tarmac road along coastal road. It was dark and it is difficult to run. It shouldn't be case, but for the debris that have not been cleaned up. Quite a number of folks, include myself, almost trip and twisted our ankles, knee etc on various occasions.

The 9 Toos keep very close during the run towards Changi Point. The pace is faster than last week and someone complaint! The pace slowed down for a while and picked up again to the dismay of the slower running. Somehow it seems we are turbo charge this morning. Hehe.

We target to reach Changi Point toilet and U-Turn, which is about 12km. When we realise the distance is much longer than this, we U-Turn at 13km which is the first toilet at Changi Point. By then, Babytoo and Lan Zhu are on their own and U-Turn already. Time check: 1:40 hr.

We head back doing some minor deviation from the way we ran a while back. We ran inside the small running track, head inside the new bridge that looks another demoralising long, follow the newly laid tarmac to run closer to the sea. Hearing the sea crushing the beach, white sand, surrounded by trees and green make the run beautiful.

We are back at the toilet along ECP. First cold 100+ relieve and also our final one! Reason is i have used my coins to buy drink for other! Haha, nevermind lah, i don't think i really need another one.

There onwards only left Ba Kwa and myself heading towards MacDonald as the rest did a shorter distance. Saw the pacer group training runs.

The sun is coming up bright and it is about time as we are heading to the end of our run too. I target to finish our run at 9am. True enough i finished prior to that time. Wow, what a run. 34km in 4:12hr. It was a good run. The pace was good and still feeling okay.

Too Hee and Too Yen join us after the run. Too Hee and myself have a openwater swim training session. She is doing Fujixerox Openswim next week and wanna try out the water. She is not a fast swimmer, but she is comfortable in the water. We tread water around 5 mins and brief her on the do/don't and tips of openwater swim in ECP. Did some swimming as well. We spent about 20 mins in the water before we close the swim for the day.

Wen Sze jog from home to meet us. This lady, just couldn't stop running since she is "seriously" injure her knee!

Tham Jiak, Ba Kwa, Babyboy, Baby, Lan Zhu and myself have our nasi lemak at Changi Point before splitting up.

The easy part of the weekend, the run is completed. Now the siong part, the bike! *Finger crossed*
