Bruise
Came back from a 3:33hr ride. Had a fall and sustain some cuts & bruises.
To Be Continued.
Since there is a road closure at Coastal road on Sunday, have to make do with the training on Saturday evening again. No choice loh, unless wanna do loops at ECP.
Bike out 00:18am(Sunday morning) from F2 towards Coastal road. The quads are sng from this morning run. I do not know why it is so? Firstly, quads are not the primary muscle group used in running! 2nd, it is only 27km! Have my fitness degrade over the last 2 substandard LSD? Die lah.
No choice, whatever it is, the training have to go on. I can feel the speed is slower than norm, is it because of the bigger tyre? Or is it because of the tiredness in the legs?
I have MP3 with me this time round! First time having it! It was good. At least i don't need to think of songs to sing to myself!
Did the 50km loop in 2:10hr. Given the condition, i will take it. Did another 1/2 loop(30km) as legs are screaming for mercy! Sigh...no choice.
On the last loop, disaster struck again! Since MP3 lost the battery on the early 2nd loop, it has been a quiet evening. I took my eyes off the road and look at the new tires. I lost concentration and keep too close to the kerb, rub against it and threw myself off to the sidewalk! My left knee was bruise with cuts. I pickup myself up and continue to paddle. I guess i am in the stage of shock when i fell and the only thing in my mind is to continue to paddle. I do not know how serious the injury is, but i don't think it is serious.
Fortunately, the bike is still good! The tubes most probably could have burst if it was the old sets! Lucky it hold well and i manage to ride back to F2. Felt abit of sensation when the sweat dripped and smear with the cut fresh. Wanna do a bit more cycling beyond F2, but choose to take the easy path out.
Total Distance: 77.49km, Max speed is 28.9km/hr, Ave speed is 21.9km/hr. Total bike time: 3:31hr
Wanna do some cool down stretching but couldn't do much as the legs are in slight pain back at the carpark. Clean up abit before heading home.
