Slack Log - 25
Last evening, the shin anxiety came back. It start to ache.
This morning woke up still okay. Finger crossed.
Reach ECP F2 10 mins before 6am. We start 10 mins after 6am since someone came late after mahjong session!
Too Bi is nursing an ITB injure so he jog carefully tagging behind us all the way to Changi Point first carpark. 3 of us(CCF, Seo and myself), was running ahead.
Seo Too was particular in good mood, and soon we have picked up the pace. I feel we should be running under 6 mins pace until the U-turn point. I was feeling good until the last 2km. Maybe the BD session aftermath have kicked in. According to CCF, i was breathing pretty hard. Too Bi caught us with us at the toilet to my surprise. He was no where to be seem along coastal road, thought he might take an earlier U-turn due to his ITB. Time check 1:24hr
We took a slightly long walk break before we resume. Seo Too have a rapid HR increase during the last few hundred meters and Too Bi isn't the best of health. I was in no hurry, maybe a longer rest will put us in good shape all the way till the end. I don't feel that chuan compare to the last run though.
We start our run about 400 meters after and proceed to run along and take the break at the Fire station. I was tired. Still can tong if really want to, but for how long, i do not know. After too bi caught up, we took a longer walk break this time.
It has been about a month or so since i last run this route. Now this route is getting crowded with so many bikers. Instead of cycling on the road, these bike choose to cycle here! It is not that they are wrong. The road is designed for runners and bikers. Just like ECP, running parallel to the bikers aren't the best road buddies combination. :(
We attempt to run again after the long walk and chit chatting. After less than 1km, we reach a junction(end of coastal road), we decide to walk again. My breathing was hard, maybe the momentum have died after the long break. Anyway to the rest, this is the lull period, there is no need to push if body can't take it. Or maybe it is just me, feeling bad. We walked from there to F2 carpark. Reached in 3:24hr.
Not able to complete(run) yet another LSD is giving me the creep. What is happening to me? It has been a long time since i can clock a decent 20km+ non-stop except toilet break. Maybe i have to start running by myself and relearn how to pace myself properly.
Meet Blur too, Slacker, tekko & Mrs tekko at F2.
