MR Run
Meet up with the gang for a run at MR. Intend to do 15km this morning. I hope i am up to it at least. At my current fitness, i have no confidence how am i suppose to feel.
Started off feeling pretty bad shape. Slow and struggling from the start! If i really don't feeling well, the most will do 10km, or even less and U-turn at 3.5km mark.
It took a voluntary walk break around 2.6km. I feel tired, especially the calves and breathing was abit chuan as well. Took another walk break at 3km and in no time reach the open space. Took a break and feel much better and start the climb up the 2 slopes with CCF, Tao and Kia.
It was pretty much a comfortable run from there to the Pierce toilet. Some walk breaks and chit chatting along. Too Kua was missing, according to CCF, he suppose to head forward to the toilet, but we didn't meet up again until the end of the run.
The changes at Ranger Station is pretty good. The pathway that was block was cleared and the ground are flatten. It make that patch an easy run. I feel ok during this stretch. Don't want to push too hard and maintain a steady pace.
At the 2.4km mark along Lornie road, decide to stop the group and do some sit ups and bench press etc. The break did wonder for me rather than making the run back to the end painful. Feeling fresh, have a good run back till the end. I didn't stop for this stretch. Pace wasn't fast and came back pretty strong.
For 15km, i think we did around 2:1xhr. It was a good run. HR wise maintain around 140-150, which is pretty okay, given my lack of fitness.
It does seem that the condition is stabilising. I hope it does. It is coming to month end, decision time. Which path should i go?
