Another commando attempt

Put on my commando cap and head over to Aljunied MRT. It is 7pm+ and damn hard to get a carpark. Why everyone must swap to Geylang? Lucky I am familiar with Aljunied area got a carpark and head over to Geylang Lor 27(next to Aljunied MRT)

I get the contact from Mike, the Ang Moh that went with us to Desaru Triathlon on massage. He recommended 2 places, this one is One of them. Doing some research, realize this traditional thai massage joint is highly recommend and is CLEAN. :)

As I walk around Lor 25/27 looking for the shop. It seems the place here is super familiar. Trying to recall back..and slowly it is coming back……30 years back, my uncle(dad’s eldest brother) stays here! I remember walking up the stairs to his home on 2nd floor. Looking down at the heavy traffic. The bus stop is just underneath the window. I remember grazing out and watch the amazing pace people are going back with their life. I have drove past this road on many occasion and only now did I realize this is part of my childhood playground!

It was an old building, the shop is 1unit(ground level), quite a number of old uncles sitting on the recline chairs, waiting for customer! Quite unsightly I feel.

S$58 for 1.5 Thai massage, $63 for oil massage…hmm….decide to try thai massage. Was lead to a mini toilet, whereby there are 2 washing cubicles, 1 sitting toilet and 1 steam room.

Floor mat, 4 mattress, 2 of them are occupied when I went in. I think a thai lady similar to my age provide the massage. She should be a thai that stay in SIN for a long time. Her mandarin is pretty good. Thought she is Chinese until hearing how smooth she handle the thai conversation that I realize she is thai.

The massage is good. A bit painful at times, but bearable. Some parts I feel she overdoes it. My back & sides of forehead still hurts, even though it is more than 12 hrs! I think the ache bcos it is blue black! Damn it!

A good massage overall. Place a bit jaded, but that is not crucial.
