Ghost Run
The last time we ran in Lim Chu Kang Cemetery was i think 2 years back. During the time it was an enjoyable run, though abit spooky.
This time round, the response was bad. I think due to many reasons. Anyway, a run is just a run, no matter where is it. Nothing to be afraid of right? What don't scare you, will make you run faster! hehe.
4 brave toos started the run super late, i think 8:20pm. Someone hor, super late! 2 torch lights and 10 pairs of eyes.(why 10?) proceed to run. The moon light is pretty good this evening. Quiet and surprising no DOG! Hmmm.....
We chat along, and things goes smoothly. Pace get a little faster at times and Tao will remind us again. Wonder what is she worry?
I almost trip and you know what? I was shocked. Bcos someone screamed! People scare people, will kills !
We saw a interesting van with special wording engrave or printed on it. Something like owe $ pay $. It is definitely not drawn by hand. 2 guys are there creating a camp fire by burning the papers. They must be wondering why these few folks running there!
Occasional running under the flare(live firing nearby), we can see the road pretty okay. If it is dark, we will use the torch as we ran zig-zag within the Chinese and Muslim cemetery.
There is a place whereby a parked lorry start his headline as we approached. The driver sitting on top wind down the window and shouted something. I think "aren't you scare". We are wondering what the hell he is doing there at this time of the night?
After 32mins and 4.7-4.8km later, we reach our starting point. Phew! A short and SAFE run.
We sit and have a long chat, before we proceed for supper.
It will be fun with more pax. I guess this is not an ordinary run according to others.
I don't think i am going to organise the run anymore. I was jio to organise, when i organise even consulted the person on the date. Don't need to guess, he chicken out at a later part, for one reason or another. I was disappointed. I didn't expect the person to do that. Nevermind, life still goes on.
