Thursday - Woes

Whole evening was raining on/off. What am i thinking of? Wah, the swim in the morning! Super Shiok! Hmm...can i don't go!......*trying to find reason to siam*

Devil and Angel is fighting once again this morning.

Finally drag myself to the pool. Sigh...no choice....

After 1.07hr(2.5km), i left the pool. Feeling refresh and good. It was a slow and relax swim. Water was not COLD! Sigh...

I think going to rain again. Hopefully do not affect the run this evening.

It didn't rain in the evening which is always welcome.

Tao, CCF, Tiam Jiak, Piglet and myself head out around 7:10pm from Guild House (NUS).

I tried to control my pace/HR. Felt abit uncomfortable. Check a few times, HR seem decent.

It wasn't a very tough run, nor is it easy. Just cruising through.

Time check 1:24hr for 12km run.

It is always good to come to NUS for a run, enjoy the speed humps along the way. Cool.

Someone remark, i expect you to catch up and overtake me.

It is not that i don't want to. It is a constant battle nowadays when i train. On one hand, i will like to push abit when the time is right, but i have so many bad experiences telling me, that sudden burst of speed with cause a reaction to my ....... what can i do?

It is frustrating know what i want and mind keep telling not to do it and maintain a steady pace. Don't do it...Don't! How to improve or halt the slide like that? Age/Fitness is like a boat going against current. To get on par on current status, i have to push abit better than yesterday.

In order to survive, i just have to get used to it. What choice do i have?
