Retirement
The time has come finally. An end of the run, where every run started.
After 11 x Marathons, 2 x Ultra Marathons, 2 x Ironman and 1 x Climbathon. I have to call it an end.
It has not been easy over the few years, whereby i crossed many hurdles and push the body and mind over the edge to see how far the body can go.
After China Ironman, the body have changed. Mentality in life have changed. I am no longer the person where i am used to. What i pursuing or rather gaining from running, is no longer available.
It is getting tougher and tougher to run Marathons. The decision to stop do not come cheap. Letting it GO is painful. I am left with little choice but to choose the lifestyle i want. Life is about adapting and surviving.
I will continue to do workouts to keep fit. Hopefully in the future, medical/technical break through or mentally too "stressful" will lure me back to Marathon scene once again.
Till then, it has been a pleasure for me to know so many runners out there to share the same passion on running.
Good Luck.
