short run - MR

After a long day at Pengarang yesterday, i need an early sleep. But it wasn't the case. :) I slept at 11pm. Thighs were a bit tight when i do a short staircase climb around 8pm at the shopping mall! I wonder how the legs are going to hold for the run this morning.

I woke up feeling pretty normal..that is good...but is abit skeptical....

Yankee, Stuck, Burnz, Joanna, ST, Batx and myself set off slightly after 7am at MR carpark. The guys are infront, ST, myself and Tao a distance behind.

I was trying to control and hold a decent pace. I manage it pretty well. I have lost the pace, but the endurance seems to be holding up much better. A decent 25mins effort to reach the opening after the woods. Another walk and chit chat to the Ranger station. Sigh....how come so many asking for discounts today? So we did a slow jog up Treetop to the opening at the top..not really that tough...just don't know why they are reluctant to do intervals there?

So enough of fooling around, we head along Rifle Range and reach the tarma around, U-turn and shortcut back to the tower and back at MR toilet...

A 11km run i reckon...I was feeling strong and good throughout....2:01hr effort.

Head to work after w/o joining the folks for makan.

Yes, it is tough...for some to do back to back workout over the weekend. In order to be ready, for those attempting to go for 10 hours or more long distance event. Back to back training is a must. Getting your body to exercise through fatigue and maintaining a steady pace is essential. The more you get your body ready, the less "shock" your body will get during race day. You will preform better at least down crawl to the end and waste your $ and time for training put in.
