Saturday Ride
It seems that i have been neglecting too much on the bike. This morning when i headed out realise that things are not in place.
The glove is only 1 piece! Hmm, where is the other piece. The new glasses(sunglass) is not good for evening ride! So...the ride still has to continue without it.
Take a slow and easy ride to meet Tao before we head to Casaurina.
We meet Burnz and Kia(overslept!) at Casaurina before we head towards NTU. We have a few pitt stops - Shell(mandai), Neo Teo, NTU before we do the loop inside NTU.
It was fun again when we did the climb up NTU slope. The ride just take our breath again though the slope is rather short relatively. Hehe.
We took another break at NTU, before we head towards next pitt stop at Kranji reservoir.
Something strange happen after that. HR drop by 10bpms compare to the norm. The rest of the riders are having a long and longer gap between me and it seems that i just couldn't catch up. I don't know did i try to put in more effort or just cruising at a comfortable pace. Just felt strange.
I think the pace is slow and HR reflect it. But how come i just couldn't put in more effort? It is not mentality(i felt), just going by my normal routine of comfortable effort. Well. It just short of the pace and HR for this ride.
I took a while, but i reached Kranji reservoir. Felt a bit hungry and munch on the 2nd museli bar of the ride. Felt much better and we proceed back to Upper Thomson.
Due to the traffic condition, manage to keep them in sight until Mandai. Slow and steady going up the slopes(each at a time), manage to reach the prata pitt stop. Felt the chest a bit tight.
We rest, refuel and chat along. Still feel not that 100% good, before we are on our way back to our respective ways.
HR came back alive with the usual effort and pace is back to norm and i get home safely.
Took a can of 100+, bath and felt uncomfortable. Maybe it is the drink...maybe it is the problem during the ride or the food(at the prata shop). The stomach like felt bloated and i need a rest.
Woke up 1 hr+ later and felt still uncomfortable and decide to skip lunch and continue the sleep.
2hr+ later, decide i have enough and try to walk around and realise the tummy is feeling okay, but there is lower right abdominal pain. Damn!
The pain didn't go off until much later in the day.
