This is looking better

Early morning, went for a run at Kallang/Esplande....ran 23km for 2:38hr. Though the timing is slow, it is nice to be pushing the distance. The aim today is to push out the mileage and not the timing. I am definitely capable of doing much better but i choose otherwise.

After the run, took a bath at the toilet and aiyoh...quite a few places kena abrasions and it is painful....sob...sob....why? same clothes and shoe and still this happened which is totally unexpected.....

I met with Pheck Leng and have breakfast afterwards. Damn good the half-boiled eggs at Kilinery Kopitiam(Purvis Rd).

Went to Bloodbank to release my quarterly dose of blood. No choice lah...must take some blood out or else gonna burst....haha.....

Night time have outing at Geylang. Damn stuffy evening, Frog Leg Porridge, Taiwan Yutiao, Durains.....wonder enough to put back what i have lost today.

Body feeling okay...legs are fine...should be able to push up more mileage.....hehe....

hi there! i'd like to know how you know you ran 23km? how do you measure distance if you run on the roads?

I have been running at Kallang, Esplande for months and pretty familiar with the distance.

There are distance marking along certain part of Esplande, the other you can roughly gauge by the speed you are running and the time taken. On another note, streetdirectory.com have a cool tool to measure distance anywhere in Singapore, be it on the roads/trail or others.

i heard heart rate monitor that has GPS does a decent job of monitoring distance as well. I remember my colleague tell me there is a distance sort of counter device that her friend is using to gauge the distance on the market. If you like i can speak to her to get more information..
