Awakening?
This is a milestone for me today. Maybe one day when i get older, this will reflect on something more meaning.
Hey Kops, if you are reading this(again), why dont you take a break, look around and try to absorb all the knowledges, digest and slowly try to figure it out. You might be slow in realising but eventually you will figure it out...
After wednesday run, my legs are itching to run again and put the "experience" on Yasso 800 to the test. Alas Thursday is not schedule for a run, so have to quell the urge to run. Sent a colleague back to Yew Tee, and ended up trying to go for a swim at cck swimming complex. This is my first trip there, it is different from other swiming pool. Have a big slide, some waves and seems interesting. Alas the deep pool is full of people, most are learning swimming. Sian, since come in already, so no choice but to swim lah. Swim for a while lah...still feeling the legs like kena pulled like that cannot swim much...anyway relax lah....after swimming took a walk around cck complex, not bad sia with swimming pool, running track and even badmintion hall in one big complex.
Today went to MR after work for a run. The intent is to run using my HR monitor. Going to watch HR closer and keep it around 150-155. Off i go with the run, i was doing ok along the first stretch to the Ranger station, HR went up, and i slow down, unless it is going upslope. If HR went down, open a bit. Reach Ranger station at 24:45+, took a min break with water etc. Proceed to take the return path back. I enjoy this part as the route is pretty flat until after the golf course. I was doing well, dont feel tired at all and keep on running strong.
Once i hit the 2.4km mark, i decided to open up abit and disregards the HR. Nevertheless still have to control or else tomorrow long run will be bad. I think the max i hit 164 during this part. I reached ZigZag bridge at 56:45. Toilet at 59:18. Last week, i reach the toilet at 66mins....
A big different in timing compare to last week. In fact i have not go under 1hr even at the zigzag bridge. I feel okay with the control pace. Not really pushing it hard. With more practise, i should be able to get better results. A small step today and hopefully a leap forward for better timing in the future.
Let see how tomorrow run feel.
