time to beef up the mileage ?

Another event coming? Nope... or is it the rain ?

This is the first week of April, Mt kk training will goes up another notch. We are training on Mon, Wed and Fri now. The venue changed to Bishan stadium instead of NIE, which we had for the last couple of months.

Mon is more like an orientation run, whereby we ran the 2 bishan park. I feel is about 8km total we did.

Wed, the weather changed(raining for the first time for Mt KK schedule). Instead of run/climb, we headed straight to Block 291, where Roland stays and do our climb. Just some stretching and off we go up the 30 stories. I did 7 sets, that is 210 stories. average < 4:30mins. Fri, The weather looks gloomy when i reached Bishan stadium. Looks like anytime it going to pour down hard. Not waiting too long for the others, we decided to go over to Roland place. Park there and go for a run around Roland's neighbour. There is a big loop around 500metres in front of the police post. We did 5 loops to warm up, then proceed to do the climb. I did 6 sets average <4:50mins

Monday to Wednesday was okay. Thursday start to feel abit of strain at both the lower calfs in the evening. I dont know is that because of the climb yesterday or the morning gym sessions where i did a 30mins cycle and 1km run. Raining in the event put off my usual evening swim. Friday was okay, though calfs are slightly arching. Saturday have to go lim chu kang for Ching Ming prayer in the early morning and put off my usual LSD. Sunday morning it starts to run again, my LSD was put off once again.

Weak minds.
