Rest Days
For the last 365 days, i believe i have over 300 days of exercise. I didnt take any medical leave from work(in fact i have not taken any medical leaves since i started working). Minimum exercise is 30mins each day every day taking an average over 365 days.
Am i doing too much? Well, i dont think so. I have learn many things throughout the months through exercises. There are good/bad, up and down during these period. At least i get to know more places in Singapore, routes that i never explore and more food outlets that i couldnt have imagine exist.
I tend to put aside a rest day each week. At times it is not possible to do that. I try not to run everyday as i feel the injury is going to pile up eventually. I still consider myself a newbie to running, i have so much to learn.
Am i going to run seriously? I dont think so. Running is just a part of myself at this moment, there are things more important to do. If the run timing improve, its a bonus, if it doesnt and going downhill, so be it.
Let feast while we still able to do it.
