What happen to this week?

Bottom line: I aggravate the injury while on Wednesday Mt KK training run. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Going into this week, a bit cautious of the injury and intend to put on the left knee guard for all the runs. Monday, join the rest of the Mt kk team at Bishan. Expected to do a 10km+ of run, but was changed to run the staircase instead. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Wow, the last round of stairs is 2 weeks ago and i can feel the stamina have dropped during this period even though we did hill climbing during these period. Wednesday did the run from Bishan towards Seletar Range, U-turn at upper pierce road. Total 13km. I feel the strain during the run. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Immediate action is to pull down the knee guard lower to supress the ache. It helps and i am able to continue the run, though at a slower pace. I finished the run in 1:12hrs. Lesson learn? i going to pull down the knee guard lower to cover the injured area moving forward to see if it helps in the coming run. Thursday no run today, as i have to catch MI3 with my sweetheart. The last movie we watched was during CNY Eve. I managed to get the tickets for free. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Friday is Vesak Day,a long weekend. I woke up at 3:30am, only sleep for about 3 hours. Went with sweetheart to Kuan Ming San for the 3 steps/1 bow ceremony event at 4:30am. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting It took us 1:40hrs to complete, whereas previous year is around 2hrs. This time round, we are at the tail end of the ceremony and there isnt a long wait to get started, it is a much better experience. We get to walk faster as not much people blocking your path. Saturday i went to MR with Francis and Simon for a 10.5km run. It has been a long time, since we ran together. I want to run together at their pace, so I put on the water bag(1litre) so that i can get a good workout together with the run. I put on the knee guard at the right spot as per last experience and started the run. We walk a bit at certain points to let the guys rest/catch up. I finished the run at the zig-zag bridge in 1:12hrs as the carpark area is occupied with ST kinetic Annual country cross country event. We have a very good workout. In fact, i am impressed with those guys for able to catch up with me giving their limit mileage and training. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
