Short week - Good for training ?

It is a short working week for me from Wednesday to Friday. Therefore my cycling is only from Wednesday to Friday, with weights sessions on Wednesday and Friday. Thursday was at MF with Heeshen, we finished 1 big loop nia.It was a tapering kind of run(slow)! My knee wasn't feeling too good and we just do the bare minimum and called it a day. Finally the shower(at the pool) is back to normal operation !!!

After receiving the training program from David Tay, i decided to meet up earlier with my new teammates for coming SCSM pacer group. Instead of going to Kallang for LSD, i ended up in East Coast. I have to inform Francis of the changes.

We meet at East Coast Carpark at 6:15am(Mac). He left for his run earlier and hopefully catch up with me along the way. I walk over to skating ring(Mac nearby) and meet up with my teammates. There are about 7 of them(if i didn't count wrongly) and among them is luke(Aichai). Some faces are familiar to me.

We started off towards Ford Road, i was running by myself with the front 2 groups speed off. I was feeling abit uneasy. I was running an okay pace with my heartrate maintaining at the target rate, but i feel out of breath easily. I do not know why i am feeling this way. We headed towards Ford Road and push on towards the heavy carpark and onwards till the 10km mark that is the end of the running track(i didnt realised the running path exist !!)

We make a U-Turn and headed back to Safra country entrance and U-Turn back to skating ring(24km). On the way heading towards the other way, i saw Divy, Junie, Lionel and Shut going towards Esplanade/Marina. Later i saw another sgrunner(couldnt recall his nick) too.

I continue to feel stress on the run, kinda of same feeling as on Tuesday. Sometime inside me is not right. I decide to call it a day as i don't wish to get injury with NYC just round the corner. I U-turn at Seafood Centre back to the carpark.

It took me roughly 70mins i think and cover slightly more than 10km.

I rested to run again. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
