The spa occupies over 40,000sqm, has overnight sleeping capsules, more than 500 massage rooms, and a leisure area with Internet access and billiards.

Be impressed by the personalized service where you literally don’t have to do anything yourself. After changing out in the locker room, you then take a shower and brush your teeth. Everything is provided from bathrobes to disposable cotton underwear. Attendants are always around to help with even the smallest things. Enjoy the hot/cold pools and the Jacuzzis after that before proceeding up to the leisure area where there is an unlimited supply of fruits for free.

Relax in your personal lounge chair which comes with LCD screen and Cable TV. Feel free to order drinks from the attendant or let her know if you would like a 90min foot reflexology session (58RMB/US$7.40). Hungry? Consider having a bowl of Beef Noodles (16RMB/US$2.05) while surfing the internet for an hour (10RMB/US$1.30).

When you’re done with lounging, go to the entrance of the rest lounge where terminals are located to choose the masseuse for your 90min massage. Massages range from Traditional Chinese to Shiatsu. According to some attendants, Traditional Chinese (168RMB/US$21.85) would be your best bet as it’s the cheapest and apart from being oil free, isn’t really much different from the rest. The massages are excellent and should leave you feeling relaxed and perky.

As we departed from the cab(around 10pm), a couple of suave looking bellboys came rushing out to help with the heavy luggage. They are too many receptionists (beautiful) IMO eager to cater to the request of guests when we step in front of their doorsteps. We get usher into the men sections, whereas the ladies went into their section. I was handed a number tag for identification and charge all the expense to. I was lead to my locker and have to strip naked in front of the service attendance. Not that i am shy about going around nakey, but with eyes staring at you, it can get abit uncomfortable! Lucky Hancheng is there to guide me through, or else very malu and couldn't dare to venture into this kind of place! Went to have a bath immediately. Hot water and refreshing after a long day. We walked across to get our robe. The attendance almost like wearing the clothes for you, handling you the underwear, pant and robe. We proceed to the leisure area to meet the ladies for dinner at 3rd floor.

This is the place where actions take place - 3rd floor. So many people around, mechiam like a casino. The different is the guest are in robe, services attendance are in their attire. There are children around and they are no casino! It is pretty smoky. So many couches around with folks lying there, with masseurs attending to the guests. Some have 2 masseurs - One on the neck, the other on the leg! It could be doing manicure as well, depending on the need. There is individual tv on some of the couch, some do not have but have a big screen in front of the area. Well depending lah...there are 3 sections of couches depending which one you choose to have your rest area. The fruits and drink stall are in the middle of the section, whereby you can have until your heart content. There are 2 internet kiosk(free) where you can do your surfing as well.

Meet up with the ladies and we have dinner at the cafe there. The seats are cozy, apart from the smoky environment, overall it is pretty good. The menu is mixture of East/West food. Whatever you require, i feel is that they are able to carter to it. Anyway, on the 5th floor there is a proper Chinese restaurant if you are keen. The price, technically should be pretty expensive, are pretty decent in my opinion. A bowl/plate of noodles costing around S$10, which i feel giving the type of environment and quality they provide are worth the cost.

After our dinner, we proceed to meet up in the common swimming pool for some relaxation. There are a few pools at Queen Spa. There is a pool at Male/Female main changing room toilet whereby u go in naked. There is a common pool where you have to be in your swim costume. There is another pool(lap pool) that is attached to the gym(pay service rmb$40) per day.

There is Jacuzzi, and all sort of water massage available and we try each one. Some of them to our horrible are interesting - ticklish, painful and very cold! Haha...there are waterslides, since we are there around midnight, there isn't much people at the pool and we enjoy the pool to ourselves. Have been a long time i went down on a waterslide with nobody to laugh at me for being childish! Haha....

We left the pool around 1am and arrange to meet up at the fruits stall at 10am tomorrow. I went to wash up and continue with look/see around the area. Hanchen went for a body scrub, i choose not to. There is a cinema there, as usual have those relax couch/seat around. You can order food/drinks with the attendance and they will bring to you. Venture upstairs to the 5th floor, saw the room that carter to manicure, hairdressing, private room (for mahjong/card games), Gym, massage room etc. I guess they have cover all possibility that a user needs/requirements. I was told that some guest stay inside for a month during the world cup period! I won't be surprise given the treatment and the cost associated. It is well worth the $ and a kingdom by itself. A place that you get sort of disconnected with the reality.

I was thinking of massage, but i don't dare to venture on my own. I saw a lot of men lurking at the computer screen, whereby the masseurs’ profiles are display and you choose which pretty lady or u prefers MEN to administrator the pain! I lazy around the area about 30 mins or so, before decide to call it a day.

Went over to cabin area and sign up for a bed. It is like a cabin inside a submarine (in tv), a small capsule and you just crawl inside and a cozy sleep within. Feel very much back in the army camp, whereby the snores around feel very familiar wherever u go! Haha... Sleep around 2am. Woke up around 6:16am around the time i woke up for the last few days and continue to sleep as my intent is to woke up at 7:20am. Even though the meeting is at 10am, i don't think i can sleep that long! Woke up, walk around the area. Realise that the movie theater is closed, i guess the show only operate at certain hours. The couches at 3rd floor are almost empty. Not the busy activities as experience last night. The juice bar is closed! No fruits juice for me...sob sob...the fruit bar is still open and i have a apple and login to check my personal mail. Officially email via blackberry have covered that loop which is wonderful to know that the world didn't collapse while i am on vacation.

I was thinking about going for massage while killing time, but looking at the lack of activities at this early morning and not dare to venture on my own. I ended up on one of the couch, lazy around watching cable tv. It is okay i think. You get serve while you are lying there too. I guess the nature of relaxation hasn’t sunk in yet and i ended up picking up my own drinks and bring it to the couch. Paiseh lah...and i am not use to the KING treatment.

At 10am, the rest of them arrived and we have breakfast at the cafe. I like the atmosphere, no rush, just relaxes and killing time. Life couldn't be better!

We left the cafe and headed for a shower before we meet up at the lobby to check out for some jalan outside. Alas we have to charge again for our next visit which is about 3-4 hours later. The fee is meant for maximum of 24hrs from the time you check in and the time you left. Anyway, the cost of RMB$98 which is slightly less S$20 is worth the additional stayed.

I am planning for another trip to Shenzhen(Queen Spa), Anyone interested?
