MSN virus

Got a first hand experience of a MSN virus on my notebook yesterday. Haha...somehow the virus definition on my system read 18 March 07! Not that old hor, but still kena virus!

I was having a chat with a friend on MSN, where he send me an attachment. Didn't notice anything amiss, download the file and hit with the virus. I was feeling a bit strange after trying to open the attachment within the zip that it did execute. It was after sweetheart complains that i send her an attachment and she got a virus warning alert on her system that it dawn on myself that my system is automatically sending out the virus attachment out to those on my MSN list! So far, i detected only sweetheart and brother-in-law received attachment from me via MSN. I hope non other folks out there are affected by this!

If anyone receive an attachment about some photo album please ignore it and informed myself!

I logout from MSN and download the latest definition on Norton, AVG and TrendMicro(online scan) and clean the machine!

Nowadays so many viruses out there, please be careful!
