Roasted Tigger

I was late to pick up Balasing, but did manage to reach the seasport center at 9:45am as schedule.

The class was delayed until 11:30am. The reason is that the tide is very low and we are instructed to have our early lunch! Balasing and myself just munched on 2 pieces of egg tarts on the way to Seasports center a couple of minutes back!

4 of us went over to my favourite Prawn noddles at Macpherson for our brunch. It was nice to go back for makan once a while.

The class start as per schedule. It was another hot day today. We proceed to learn a few more skill sets. The thumb web, in between thumb and index finger, is sored from yesterday training. It is the way we handle the paddles that is causing it, just need to get the body(hands) use to it.

This is the 2nd day of the lessons, we get to know other students abit more. There is a young lady that have joined Sgrunners as well, wearing a swee swee purple zoot trisuit. Didn't ask her about her nick though. I have these feelings that alot of students are runners as well. Since when i speak about running, i can see a few brighted eyes among the students. I guess only those old uncle/auntie are more outspoken.

Finally we get to take our kayak across the river to Tanjong Rhu. Cool. We have been looking forward to this trip for a long time and get there(less than 1km) is indeed something special. It was a very nice/good view from the water. I enjoy it.

We did some drill over at Tanjong Rhu area. One of the most significant is mass capsize. It was pretty hilarious when 1 trainee(too fat) have problem getting into Kayak. Even when he did so, the kayak sink! Because of too much water! We have already pour out the water before he attempt to go board the kayak. It was a struggle and good fun and he finally managed to get in! Haha...

We have to cut short the fun kayaking around 3:15pm, as there is lightning spotted. We proceed to wash up and have our debrief before we are handed our KAYAKING 1 STAR AWARD.
