Sunday - Run
I sleep every early yesterday around 8pm+. I was not feeling well and very tired. It has been a long while, since i slept at 8pm.
I have an appointment to run with a friend on Sunday morning. It was arrange a while back. Though i woke up with sore throat, aching body and sunburnt behind my neck. I feel i am still strong enough to do the run. Especially so, after a long sleep yesterday. I did feel better that yesterday.
For some reason, i didn't go through my usual LSD routine preparation. Maybe because it is a short 16km today. Or because i am too tired to think about this routine? I should be more discipline about these details! Bad tigger!
I woke up at 5:30am and reach BG at 6:30am. We start our run at 6:48am. It is a route that i have not been before, which make this run interesting. Haha...i enjoy those short new route expedition. Refreshing!
We proceed through Khean Hock Road to MR, that is about 1.5km to lornie road. We crossed over the bridge and proceed into MR territory. Over the golf course, pass jelutang tower and turn left into Rifle Range Road. We proceed to follow MR 25km TT route along Rifle Range Road, then push into new territory to me(MR 30km TT route).
It was enjoyable to run inside Rifle Range and get to know this route better. Have been wanting to venture into this route, many times and glad that i am given an opportunity today to accomplished this task. There is shade and some slopes around in this part of the route. I guess that make the run more challenging. We passed by some houses that cooked very tasty chicken wings! Both of us are drooling...!!!!
We hit Bukit Timah Road soon and proceed to run back to BG. It was a relax run. We run/walk most of the time. No need to run fast lah...just enjoy the good accompany and a good morning run!
We reach BG in 2:05 hr later. Good run! I enjoy the run and i hope my friend do as well.
Wash up and proceed for other appointment.
