Ruse?
Have a call last week from one of the telephone marketeer, was at the gym then so ask the person to call me back again politely.
Today call me again. Normally i don't even bother to entertain this kind of calls. No matter who the FU$# the company is!
Since i have ask the lady to call me back, at least i have to give my 2 cents worth of attention.
The company, couldn't remember what, are calling on behalf of Standard Chartered Bank to sell insurance on theft for credit card/important documents in Singapore or oversea.
After listening to 10 mins, i just want to slam down the phone, i told the lady i am not interested to buy any insurance for my credit card! She mention the company will cover all credit cards(even it is not Standard Chartered!) for a mere S$47 per year! Hmmm....$47 for a piece of mind....for a year should be good deal.
I don't want to make a judgement immediate and the following are the correspondence that follow:
TG: Can you email me the brochures/document about this product?
MK: I can't email to you, can i fax over to you, it is 3 pages.
TG: Har like that har. Fax har....
MK: It is very fast for 3 pages, can you provide fax number
TG: Can you provide your company website? I will like to do a bit more about your company.
MK: I can't give it to you, as the company have understanding with Standard Chartered to sell this product, therefore cannot put the product/service inside company website.
WTF is this? Small fry? Cheat? Cannot provide website, can't even email to me!
I told the lady, i am not interested in the product straight away!
Waste my time! You cheater!
