I just can't seem to be amaze about the conversation i heard during wash up after the morning swim. The topic that those uncles discussed really make it worth the effort to brave the cold water early the morning!
It was a stuffy morning when i reach the pool. I find it difficult to breath and chest feel abit tight. Maybe it is just me that is feeling this way. I was a bit careful when i hit the water, especially with my right arm injure.
I managed to pull through 2 sets of 200 meters and feeling uneasy. The rhythm is not there, the stroke seems okay, but it seems i hardly move! Its one of those day that you wish you are sleeping or feasting! How i wish i can jump out of the pool, wash up and headed for the hawker center! When the going get tough, it is interesting to find how strong the mind is. Or rather whether the body is able to stood to the test and grit it through!
I decide to switch to breast stroke and try to push on and see whether i can recover in later part of the swim. I try to switch back to freestyle at certain interval, the body is not responsive today. Sigh...I drank some water and is pretty mental to push myself through the 54 mins for 2km.
I read somewhere. The ability to grit through those "tough" session is worth more than the ability to get a good timing during training! I agree to a certain extent, i also feel that in order to grit through those session, what are the price i have to pay!
A good tao hua jiu is definitely heavenly sent!
Now the right arm is aching again! DUN WAN!!!!!!

Africa Rain
I brought my workout barang barang and books out today. Mechiam like runaway like that when i left home. Left/Right my hands are full.
I need a quiet place for a breather tonight. I try to make some arrangement, but it seems it didn't materialise. Ended up, i went to the gym in the afternoon. Contemplating to do Interval this afternoon. Mind not strong enough, plus tonight i be running & have no appetite for food, i decide to change to weights workout. This is something which i think that is where i cultivated. My default choice is to do workout rather than makan! I read an article on how to enjoy the run...in runnersworld(if i am not mistaken). It talks about making running a part of your lifestyle like waking up you have to brushing teeth, for some it is combing of hair! You just do it, without thinking about it - Spontaneous. I think i have reach there. I don't find it a chore to do workout. It is like time out leow, then just do it.
It started to rain again when i hit the gym. Wow, nice weather to run hor....:) How i wish i be out there enjoy the light drizzle. Watching the rain hitting the water in the pool, while i am dry(slight drench from perspiration) doing my workout is enjoyable. :)
I ought to be careful today on my right arm muscle. Alas, once get into the groove leow hor...difficult to self control ! Oh mind, my arms and body like 2 different parties now! Haha.....
It was a good weights session. The trainer give me some tips and now the arms like CMI leow. Sob...Sob...Sng kind of feeling...i like...haha...:)
I do not know why, i have no appetite today. Just don't feel like eating..so i grab some fruits from the canteen instead. Hopefully it can last until dinner...:)
