Cramp Run II
My left calf still ache whenever i try to stretch it. This is bad, i didnt expect the damage to this extend.
Given the choice, i would have a rest day or go for a swim this morning. Alas i have to lead BG run! I hope i don't punchet later! It is a jinx? April BG Run, i faced similar dilemma! Sigh...
I reached SMU around 6:40am. Saw a few sgrunners gathered at the basketball court then proceed to the Nike van. Today Nike is giving us their shoe for trial. That is very cool. I do not have the intention to do the trial today. But since everybody is trying, i might as well do it too. Anyway the thought of washing my shoe later irks! I better dirty someone shoes! Keke
We started the run at 7:20am++. Not that i didn't expected it to happen! Somehow still feel that everybody should start the run on 7am sharply, since i have sort of stressed for everyone to come early for shoe testing or trial! Wasting other folks valuable time is a bad habit, that is what i don't like. That is precisely the reason i have skipped so many BG run in the past, because other folks take their own sweet time! I have a limited VISA and can't play hide and seek with everyone! I rather run alone, at least i am the manager of my time.
There are quite a few runners today. I am surprised everybody decided to run the entire route! I expected some of the runners to take a shorter route, but it didn't materialise. Cool.
It is nice to run in MR and Rifle Range road once again. My left calf is showing sign of cramp again, but not as serious as yesterday and i know it should be able to withstood the stress from the run.
This loti hor, is running so strong nowadays. Not that i am not aware of it. I have been struggling to catch up with her on most CBD runs! Her base pace is much stronger than mine. Given adequate training, her performance should be very good.
Well done to everyone that completed the run. It was not an easy run today, given the terrain and weather!
I am glad i managed to complete the run with causing much damage. Now, have to nurse my aching calf.
