Test I

It has been a long time. Too long. Ever since i have switch into IT profession, have been looking toward this certification as a form of recognition. In today market, it has become a norm. Today i finally take the first step forward and did the first paper.

I have taken similar certification before from another principal. That was many years back, i passed the certification easily. In fact passing that certification is a foregone conclusion way before i even taken the test. The trainer, during that period, was very impressed that he invited me to join the Principal's company! That offer was turn down and choose my current company. I won't say i make the wrong choice, but given the circumstance it is the best option. Most probably i will earn more if i have joined the principal company.

Current company did nothing much to improve my technical skills. I am not denying that is the fact. In IT, if you don't move with times, you are "degrading" yourself. The pace is so fast with new products/services/technology keep coming up. Current company do provide me the exposure of different aspects of IT(soft skills etc).

I am not confident for the test. I might have study and try to memory the answer, but will it be sufficient? I do not know. No venture No gain!

The test center is held in a learning center. The place is okay bah. The computer is abit old IMO. Okay, it meet the minimum specs. The computer did "hang" on me twice! I was frustrated, i know it is not something that is within i have in control.

The quality of the questions, are similar to those that i have been study so far. The questions are not the same though...:(

I was abit discourage when i realise that a lot of questions, i do not know the answer! Die lah! what is done is history and we have to make do with whatever i know.

At the end, the result was shown on the screen...and I DID MAKE IT. Even though i just manage to make it with border line grade.

Anyway, i am looking forward to Test II.
