Bike Out

Reached home around 11:30pm without dinner yesterday evening. Lazy to eat and no time to eat. Neither here nor there. Damn!

I was hungry by 12:30am. No choice and cook noodles or else tomorrow morning workout will be....

I am suppose to wake up at 4am and prepare for a bike ride with some folks. Less than 3 hours of sleep, definitely not the way to prepare for a LSD on bike! Furthermore remember the massauer have informed me that i am not suppose to do any hard biking the next day. Even with my tempo pace, i would still be the rest of the folks slowest pace! So no choice, i SMS out that i won't be joining them.

I sleep after 1am and woke up at 6am+. I left home around 7am to ECP for a short bike ride. Body still slightly ache over yesterday session.

I was shock to realise the back tire of the bike is FLAT! I didn't bring spare tube or pump along! First time didn't bring and this happen!

Drive over to the nearest petrol kiosk to get some air for the wheel. Unfortunately it do not take in the air! Damn it! The front of the bike can take air intake, but not the rear wheel! Something must have happen to the tube.

No choice, abandon the workout and headed home. Try to use the hand pump at home and realise that it can't get any air into the problematic tire! Took out the new tube and use the hand pump and still the same problem remains! Hand pump spoilt? This hand pump is double head, i try to pump road tube, no problem, use it for MTB tube, it has problem! Aiyoh, frustrating! is happening!

During noon time bring the wheel to the local bike shop to take a look. Aiyoh, bike shop not operating today!

Evening time, i went over to the bike shop at Thomson road. The tube have lobangs so it leaks. The hand pump is okay, just that i do not know how to use it. Haha...

The shop owner changed the tube(i brought along a spare tube) and brought a hand pump from the shop to replace the mising unit.

The way he changed the tube, less than 90 secs was impressive. I shall visit the shop again in the future, i like the uncle, very nice...:p
