There's No Bad Weather

There is One point BAD about group running is when the opinion differs.

Receive an SMS before 5am on weather update. It is showing sign of rain in other part of town. Reached MR at 6:10am and the weather hold.

Slowing more folks trickle in. Lionel, Ronnie, Joanna, Chen Ping, Ray and Heeshen. Light flashes across, rain has arrived in small droplets.

Expectedly there are signs of reluctant to proceed for the run. It didn't rain heavy enough to cancel the run and we proceed with it.

We headed into the trail. The rain just got heavier as we ran along. Finally we stop at Terak Hut to avoid the rain. We rested there and have a good time catching up! It was fun.

When the rained abatted, we proceed to do a shorter distance. 1) at least do 10km+, 2) to keep someone shoe dry(dot.dot.dot.), 3) to show someone the rifle range route, 4) Still need to go back MF capark mah!

It was an interesting run back to end point. The 2 slopes at SICC is abit challenging as the body haven't firing yet after the pitt stop The tip toe and swaying left/right to avoid the puddles of water provide some hilarious moments as well.

Lionel was pushing the pace for most of the return leg, which was very good. I decide to give Lionel an additional incentive by running closely behind/beside, he gamely opened up the pace. :p

We finished 12km in 1:27hr, all drenched and in smiles!

Running in group have its pro and con. Today it prove to be on the negative side. Nevertheless fate decide it should be so, let move on. There's No Bad Weather, Just Weak Minds.
