A bit of ache on the knee, react until like something so big! Is that over concern? I think so.
After various injuries on different area of the body, we tend to be cautious whenever the alarm went off signalling the body is not responding or showing sign of non-conformal to norm/standard. Likewise we have taught not to push yourself, rather err on the safe side than facing the music later.
A quiet morning at the pool. The water was chill! It isn't expected, but i do realise that it is normally the case when you least expect it! I did expected for the cold water! Hehe.
A good and steady start. 5 set of 200 meters circuit. Feeling okay, mind drift off to the weekend workout or rather lack of it. :( How nice if i can join the group for the workout this weekend. It will be a perfect opportunity to put the trainings to the test and built up for Busselton. Alas, only if i can. Very demoralising to even think of it.
Before i finished 2nd - 5 sets of 200 meters circuit. I can feel the stress on the kneecap. I was asking myself. "Swimming also can feel meh?" "Damn it swim also kena!" I was in 2 minds to stop the swim at the end of the 2nd set. After much deliberation, i tell myself, i shouldn't allow myself the luxury to slack! I need to be strong and bite through it.
At the end of 2km, i switch to breast stroke. I pick up the pace, heart rate increase to i think 80-85%, and kick at a efficient rate. I manage to pull away slowly from my pacer uncle. Maintaining a good pace + kick i finished the last 1 km.
It was a good swim. The last 1km pace seems alright to me. Still can push if required. Finished 3km in 1:15hr. Digging into reserve to harness the strength to finish.
Didn't feel much problem on the knee at this moment. But, only time will tell.

Head for the gym for a SPIN in the evening.
30mins on the bike was okay before the class. It goes downhill from there.
During stretching, i find that when i bent my right knee to the end, the kneecap feel the tightness! That is bad.
During the class, can feel the stress on the knee. I have to remind myself constantly to reduce/lower/maintain current resistance as heavy resistance might be stressing the knee.
Didn't do any run after the SPIN. I need a rest.
