Another beginning

Woke up at 5am, that is local time 6am. Took a walk, my fingers are numb from the wash up and the cool weather outside.

If it is going to be these cold I guess about lower 20+ degrees, it will be nice for the entire day. It was lighted out when I do a walk around at the campus compound. It is a simple country side here. Quiet and practically everyone still asleep except for this crazy guy!

Met up with the rest and head over to the jetty for a swim. It is nice to see many swimmers from trifam and Singapore, a few SGrunners as well.

The sand by the beach is soft, water was cold as expected. Wetsuit hold well, at the beginning until water slip in. Slightly colder than the morning swim in Singapore! Ok lah, still can tehan. We swam along the jetty towards the sea. A mixture of Froggie and freestyle. Ok lah, not too difficult.

The water was clear. The water wasn't deep. Maybe 20meters max. There are batches of fishes around. Sometime hundreds at one go. How I wish I can dive in! Hehe. The water was very salty! Think drink a few mouthful !

Not to overstrain, we swam pretty near the midpoint mark and swim back, estimate 1.5km of swim in around 40mins.

Head out of the water, changed and head off for a run. Should be around 8km for a return trip in 45 mins. The weather is ok, not too hot. Alas there is no trees or shade around! Chiam going to get barbecue cum D day!

Finished the run around 10am. Head over for makan after. Hungry!
