80

Woke up middle of the night for prayer. It has been 3 years. That is also how long Dad has left.

Head to the gym as usual for morning bike session. Decide to go back to ground zero on fitness in preparing for IM China. Less than 7 weeks to the event. Time is running out.

My fitness should be ok, but why am i struggling with LSD. What is happening!

From now till D-Day, I need to focus and not get distracted. I ought to get myself prepare for the event. It is going to be many crazy hours on the road.

If I sound a bit grumpy…just ignore me…

Push down the resistance on the bike and start to maintain RPM @80 or more. A little bit not use to it. It took a long while, but I think I am pretty okay at the end of it. Distance wise clock about 18km. About 10km short than norm. Let get the cadence up and slowly play with it and hopefully get it right(peak) at the right moment.

BSKL

For some reason, i decide to skip the gym this afternoon. Sigh...mind need to get stronger!

Head for SPIN class this evening. It is time to go back and get to the basic. I find it pretty interesting, as though i am new, to the bike again. I get to relearn about position and how to cycle. I still remember a few times on the road, i find my hands are too heavy on the handle bars.

It was a good session, maybe it is because i didn't SPIN for a long time leow. I still need more time to get use to SPIN again.

After class, head up the threadmill. 10 mins @5mins pace. Pretty decent effort.

Right heel felt the ache during the run. Sigh...it is this problem that i stop SPIN for a few weeks. A bit demoralising. :( I suspect it is the straps on the peddle. Have to test out on the new few visits.

Time to SPIN more!
