Piling Up

After a few days of slacking(is it?), I am back in the pool this morning. Weather looks warm.

Started off slowly and have a pain on the left arm while pulling. Sigh…what have I done? Have to swim to breast stroke for a few rounds, before attempting to swim front crawl again. Surprising the pain went away. *phew*

Mix the stroke and finished 3km, or is it 3.2km…I lost count in the middle and finished in 1:25hr. Not really tough this morning, I think it is because of the break and feeling fresh.

Going to pile up the mileage.


CBD run at MF this event. I was feel okay until i did the first loop on TOP of MF. HR went berserk. I have been controlling my pace and breathing and still the damn HR went UP! I walk up the reserve slope up MF. I don't wish to push any further and risk aggravate the heart.

It took me a while to reach the TOP. HR went down shortly and i proceed to do another loop since i feel much better. Another 150 meters down, HR went berserk again. I decide to make a U turn back to the top of MF. I just couldn't understand why only running will cause the HR to spike so high.

I proceed to do the run back to TP with Steve. I wasn't feeling that great but not that stress as expected, maybe i have cut short the training, thus not feeling that bad.

I think i covered around 11km. I couldn't understand i am feeling this way. The rate i am progressing, it is going to be a long day come 20th April!
