Health Club Spa

I have been looking for a budget and good massage place/person for quite some time. Similar to looking for good food, i am always on the prowl! :)

A typical full body massage will cost about S$50(budget) for 45-60mins. There are many places that do massage in Singapore. Those reputed place, either are more expensive or try to get you into a package which i rather turn off.

There are those "handy panky" type that are cheap, but hor..... well...put it this way, the main objective is not for massage, but on the "special" skill.

I have read alot of forums, you name it, i have most probably cover the route before. There are quite a few that is worth a try. Of course, good or bad, very subjective. I don't mind trying more places, but with the right kaki. Alas most don't exactly has the same frequency as myself when it come to massage. At times, it is myself(in my commando mentality) and go for it.

Yesterday decide to try out a Health Club Spa. First, i know it is one of those "hanky panky" place. It doesn't matter to me when it is "clean" or "not". Just like judging people, i don't judge(in a serious sense) based on their appearance. Getting to know the person in details and most probably will know the person better. Similar i have read pretty positive comments about the massage. Though alot of negative comment about the poor facilities, lack of activities and the quality of the "ladies" there. I am only interested in getting a good(budget) rub!

A typical "S$20-S$40" spa + massage are "handy panky" joints in SIN(if you are not aware).

Entrance fee is S$38 for this spa + massage I was greeted by a i think in her 50's "grandma"! What do you expect? A beautiful sexy early 20's bunny? It doesn't matter, the lady was very nice to me(being the first time alone at this kind of "joint"!!!) as i asked alot of "stupid" questions(i am sure!)

Given me a locker. I go changed and went to the suana in my towel(naked below!). Wait..sometime is not right, headless moving up and down the stair a few times and decide to go back to the toilet and put on a short(take from the toilet shelf). After reading some of the instruction on the wall, realise that for MEN, we are suppose to wear shorts when we are using the facilities. Silly me! *blush*

I realise that i don't know where is the steam room! Lucky get the instruction from the cleaner auntie. She is friendly. I have a good chat with her while i was jumping up and down from the hot/cold bath tub.

Apart from the hot/cold bath tub. I try the Sauna and Steam room as well. It is a simple layout, nothing fanciful. A bit plain i would say, but good enough for me. Soaking in the hot/cold alternatively is shiok. I enjoy it. I have been trying to find a budget place whereby i can do just that after my super siong training session or tiring session for a long time. I think this work very well for me. After about 30 mins trying out all the 4 rooms, i decide to head up stair for a bath.

There are a steamer(where they keep food). Like those char siew pau, loh mai kai etc, where you can consume for free. Drinks(netscafe) machine are available. Fruits are there as well. Ok, the variety is not alot, but sufficient enough for me. Take a few small bite before i get my bath.

There is a small lounge there to watch TV, relax and listen to music. I didn't rest there as i don't have the time and i saw some guy smoking there(just now), kind of spolit the mood. You know what i mean.

Not knowing what to do, i changed back to my office clothes and proceed to the counter and return the locker key. The receptionist(grandma) say thanks and was surprise that i tell her i haven't get my massage yet! She must be wondering, how come this newbie, changed when he haven't get his massage yet! I really don't know the SOP around this place! Make a fool again....:)
I was assign a room and proceed to wait inside. Heart rate jump a bit higher..well...what do you think i am getting my "special"....:) Waited about 5 mins and come in a late 40 or early 50 auntie, wearing a mini dress. *lol*. I wasn't surprised. I expect the ladies to be abit older in this place.

She was from Malacca. Previously a beautician and now working here. Her massage is different from those that i have experienced so far. Not that i have gone through lots of massage sessions(less than 20 i think).

She was strong and surprising good! I was slightly impressed. At least what the forum have mention is true. After a while she used her knee, elbows etc, climbing all over me. I was more impressive and she is pretty professional. Not even half the pain of sport/deep tissue massage, but some pain like thai massage. The strength she used are just nice for me. One thing about her is that she don't attempt to arouse me! Given the fact this is a "not so clean" place, i half expect her to make the move throughout the session.

I was enjoying the session, when i was told to flip over, which is around 40 mins. The normal massage is 60mins, normally about 30-40mins, the golden question(that is what they called) will be pop up. As expected to the norm, she asked.

I told her i am very tired not looking for special(actually don't want to tell her that i am not interested at all) but i will give her S$30 for her to continue the rest of the remaining time for massage and compliment her on her nice massage so far. She agreed to continue.

For a S$38 i paid. I don't think the masseur will earn good money for her effort. Doing "special" is what make their earning. She has been good so far. I think even total package of $38+$30 is worth the money.

After massage, head to the shower again, before leaving feeling very refresh! Cool!

I used to hate or dislike about linking myself to this kind of hanky panky place. As i grow older, the mentality has changed i tend to look at thing different.

There is no white or black, it is a mixture somewhere in between. There are good people, there are bad people. It is not so straight forward. Some folks are working in a entertainment sector that are not accepted by normal social behaviour. Nobody want to do that unless they have some reasons to do so. I am sure some are tears "bucket" case, if you care enough to listen.

I saw a ladies toilet there. I think they welcome ladies as well. But if anyone of you are interested to give it a try, let me know. Let see whether our schedule allowed. Let the guy try first :)
