Calm

Clean water, cool weather. What more can I ask for?

Take it easy off the block and off I went. Swimming slowly and keep a good HR and pace. I think after a few laps doesn’t feel that comfortable. Not really chuan, but can feel uneasy.

Couldn’t be leh. I didn’t push. Just swim along nicely. Ok..i keep telling myself, it is just a bad feeling after all. Nothing to be alarm about. Stay calm and slowly moving forward.

1 breast and 3 x freestyle to make a set. The uneasy didn’t go away neither. So keep focus and relax and tell myself to calm down and persist.

I think I manage pretty well to control myself and finish 10 sets of it. It was that tough, just need to calm myself down and slowly pull forward.

After 54mins, I have finished 2km swim.

Took a look at HR monitor and realize that HR has rocketed. Sigh.

It is time like this, you treasure more of the little things in life. Life still goes on...

HR remained high for another 4 hours today. I am in two mind whether to run this evening or not. I am most probably tired before the run even start and this evening we are heading up MF!

Decide to push on no matter what when the time comes. I didn't bring Garmin this evening thus not able to do a track back, but i believe the engine move to high gear pretty fast. I was wet and run at a slightly hard in the beginning first few km. But i am way back on the group. Guess the elevated HR have drained me.

It wasn't that tough climbing up MF as percieve, still manage to reach the top. HR was okay, but feel the right knee like CMI leow. Sigh....I was struggling to do 1 loop. I better err on safety side and call it a day before something nasty developed.

Took a long walk with Gen & Ben down MF. It is nice to have such a long walk, listening to their chit chatting. I kpo lah.

It started to rain and we have to do a double time effort back. It was a shiok run. I think i ran a good pace back. Shiok...Think if Garmin is there, i can look at the stats to determine how am i doing. Sigh....

On the way back, can also feel the left bottom of the feet is unpleasant. Damn......

Finished the run in 1 piece, feeling strong and in control.

Time to rest.
