Distraction
I was almost distracted to reach the pool this morning. Human are so easy distracted. Sigh...
I was late to reach the pool. I think i did pretty well to reach the pool at the first place. It could have been a different story if the unfortunate happen and the mood sort of change for the worst. I keep telling myself i should keep my emotion in check, but it is difficult. I need to handle the small bit and piece in life better.
Calves still ache, but can feel it is feeling much better. I guess i must have overworked the muscles too much on Sunday and until now, i am still feeling the ache. Sigh.
I was surprise that the lane wasn't close for training this morning. I overhead later, the lane was closed on Tuesday. It is a typical morning, where the water is warm when i jump into. It seem like many moons ago that i get into the water. I ought to be more disciplines in going for swim. I guess swim sessions are the most likely session i will tend to slack.
Can feel the ache when i kick with either stroke on different area of the calves. Which is good in a way, sort of give it a good massage...:)
It was a relax swim this morning. Not much rushing, just cruising along, concentrate to give the calves a good stretch from time to time. 3 breast laps + 1 free circuit. Slow and steady, keep HR at a comfortable pace. Finish the 2km swim in 51mins.
A good start of the day.
I was sleepy and calves are still aching. Trying to siam...but unfortunately get dragged to the running track. Those neighbour track that i dread to visit. :( The "flower smelling" pace walk, the chit chat, the smokers all mixed together on a congested road. Sigh...i guess i have to get use to this again.
Sweetheart and myself head to the track and did some rounds this evening. It has been a long time since we did that together.
Did 5 loops as warm up. 1 loop is about 310meters, the last time i checked. I didn't bring garmin this evening, so couldn't confirm the distance.
Did 5 set of 1 loop intervals. Abit slowly given the fact, i wasn't panting like "dog" at the end of each lap. Anyway, it has been a long time since i did intervals. Just take it easy for a start.
1:34, 1:32, 1:31, 1:31, 1:30, for the records.
I have to start somewhere. I hope today is the start of many more intervals in the future.
