Triy lah
Alot of things depend on weather. Whether we can carry on with our schedule workout. Sometime it depends on how flexible/ready you are with the time/opportunity presented. Most of the time it is about attitude. How you view or wanted something.
Morning
It was raining early the morning. I can feel the wetness of the ground while sleeping. Woke up early this morning as Enver decide to push me off the bed. His superbaby stuff is admirable to say the least as he try to push and push..but i am sleeping against the wall! Only manage to wake me up instead. Haha...
The weather is wet when i about to leave house. Should i head to the pool? Thought for a while and decide not to take the risk and head to the gym instead. Although i am late than usual to the gym. I think i can still do a decent workout.
Choose to do Alpine theme bike. 50mins is all i have this morning for the session. Since it is up and down. It is not really that tough for a long period of time.
Playing with the settings on the bike trainer, realise some stats that look interesting or rather reaffirm of my likes and dislike when it come to cadence/resistance.
The indicator states 22.35km over the 50mins period. That is about right for a typical ride session in the gym.
Let see how the weather hold up later.
Afternoon
It was drizzling lightly when i approached the pool.
How crazy i am, standing at the gate of the pool, trying to peep inside to see if the raining is forcing anyone out of the pool. It doesn't look that good when i see alot of people watching the rain inside the swimming complex.
What the heck, come here already, just GO IN! Paid the entrance fee(abit regret) and walk in. 2 swimmers still lapping around, 20+ swimmers watching by the side, plus 2 watchful eyes of the lifeguard.
Ok, still ON. Quickly changed, deposits my stuff and i have this feeling that everyone is staring at me! What this crazy guy is doing!
I jumped into the pool. Hot lah..the water....damn! The rains started to pour! No more care leow, just swim! Less than 2/3 the lap...the whistle blows! WTF! See lah....everyone must be thinking this crazy guy, pay $ swim less than 50 meters kena call up by the lifeguard...*serve him right!*... feeling quite embarrassed, climb up of the pool. *sad*
What is the TSR for swimming! Not "no swimming when there is lightning meh" ? Damn...i don't see or hear anything! Less than 3 mins, the weather becomes very calm!
The lifeguard signal to me that i can continue. Wah.....matui leow....quickly jump in and start the swim! It did threaten to rain again for a couple more time, but i just move on. If it comes it comes, no point worry, life still carries on.
A typical 3F + 1B circuit swim. It was abit uncomfortable in the beginning, unlike what happened on Tuesday, i keep telling myself to relax and hang it there. About 1km, i feel so much comfortable and everything move into gears.
10 sets of the circuit. Feeling was good. Don't intend to push it further as time is of essence. 50mins effort. Maybe i count wrongly..wahaha....
Wash up and head back to office.
One of those day whereby a little bit of persistence paid off.
Evening
It wasn't raining. Floor wasn't that wet, when i drove pass the running track. The rest is Fated. Sigh.
No run. :(
