D-E-I-R-T

I am on leave today. It is time for an extended workout. Let hope it materialise. :)

Woke up as per norm and head over to ECP. There are a fair bit of activities at there even though it is a weekday morning when i started my run from B1 at 5:52am.

Intend to do a short run, therefore can try to push up the HR abit and see how it goes.

I wasn't comfortable for the first few km(as expected) and last till i reach Seafood's toilet. Took a break before slowly move on again but still maintain the same HR effort around 140.

Body get warmed up and feeling much comfortable and reach seasport's toilet in 53mins. Took another break before heading back. Slowly HR crept up as times goes on heading to 150 at times. Which is quite normal during "last time".

Have another break at Seafood's toilet and push on for the final 4km. Pace has dropped, while HR has increase. Didn't want to push too much as it is a long day ahead and try to keep a steady effort.

Reached B1 at 1:50hr. A slower return portion. A decent effort overall. Cool. Rest and wash up before heading over to Parkway parade.

It has been ages since i came to this gym. Layout still looks the same. Apart from some familiar class instructor, the rest are alien to me.

Head on the weights first. Have to get use to the location and the weights. Did a good 60mins workout. Didn't particularly focus on any parts, just a general workout to give each major muscles some stretching. Cool.

The bikes position is bad in this gym. I don't quite like it. No choice but to head up one that looks comfortable to me. 1st hour was okay...reading magazine, listening to Mp3. 2nd hour was struggling. It is mind over body. I couldn't understand why this is so.

Maybe the previous workout has taken its toil. Or could be the increase in resistance is making things worst. Or due to lack of nutrient? Either way, I make it.

I was drenched and legs are retired. Bath and head for lunch.

Came home for a rest. :)

Around 5pm+, i am in the pool. It was quite crowded compare to last week. It was still not that bad compare to morning swim. :)

Wasn't feeling comfortable at the beginning. Chest hurt! It was around 400 meters when i felt it and decide to rest at the pool side for a while. After feeling much better continue again. This time round switch to breast stroke heavy and take it slowly.

Felt so much better, abit pushing at the end. Would like to do more, but felt better to do the minimum(2km) and called it a day. Finished in 52mins.

Time to call it a day. It has been a long day. Glad that i at least completed what i set out to do.

More to come as times coming closer to D-Day.
