slowing doing it

A nice cool morning and i am early to the pool this morning finally. Woke up early this morning and decide to come out early.

Water wasn't that bad this morning. The form is bad though. Couldn't get the free style moving in a smooth manner. Think i look like a struggling madman in the water. Decide to ditch it and continue with breast stroke.

As times goes on, the pool get pretty crowded. I have to be vigilant to dodge the swimmers in each lap. Not that i really mind, it is fun trying to distract myself from counting the laps. Anyway i did miss the laps..i think...wahaha...

One thing particularly good about swimming is that it seems that time is frozen in space. Everything just freeze and i can take the opportunity to do alot of stuffs. At least in the mind, you start thinking and thinking. Let see, after the various workout, which part of the body is aching? After a while, things started to surface. This morning, the neck on the right side has a pulled during freestyle. :(

Decide to stop at 2km(i think more than that). 61mins of slow effort this morning to start the day. Nice. :)

CBD runs up MF this evening. I started the run way back with burnz. Slowly moving along. Legs were heavy at the start. Breathing wise is okay.

Up the slope, moving decently. Didn't push hard, just going at conservative pace. Feeling good.

2 loops i did this evening. It was getting a bit crowded this evening as Safra MF also run there. Met a few familiar faces along the way.

Took a toilet break and came down earlier with a few folks and get to chat with Zhu bao bei on her coming trip to HK and coming races. Quite a nice walk to the bottom of the hill before we start to run again.

Zhilei did more loops at the top than us and came rushing down and push past us and powered forward. This lady is pretty stronger each time i ran with her. I decide to keep pace, since i have been slacking for a while and run back to TP.

Both of us try to keep a close distance behind her. I can sense that she knows that both of us are following her and push up to another gear. I was feeling strong so i keep up with her. Bao Bei dropped off after a km or so. Eventually we caught up with Burnz.

That slacker seeing us having fun also decide to up the tempo and joined in and keep a step or two in front of her. I have been keeping the pace for a km or 2 now and decide not to push too hard and keep a short tactical distance behind.

It was a fun finished. Looks good on the garmin. Don't think i would have done it without some sort of friendly rivalry going on. Wahaha...

Distance is 13.7km in about 1:40hr.
