For a start yesterday, i thought i could have gone for gym in the afternoon. I was dead wrong when i try to get the gym pass from my admin. The company didn't renew the gym pass! damn it! So no gym! Shit! I have to calm down and rework on the strategy.
This morning head to the pool as usual. The usual faces are there, so is pacer uncle.
I adopt the same strategy as Tuesday. It works pretty well. Started slowly, not as discomfort as tuesday session, and moving up the pace gradually.
Uncle start about a lap in front of me. For 5 sets, i manage to keep on par. Next 5 sets i have caught up with him. For unknown reason again, uncle stop at set 12. Hmm...2.4km...how come not 2.5km..well his preference. :p
I proceed to do another 5 sets. Total 15 sets. I was slightly tired on the last couple of sets. Maybe not much more motivation or distraction leow. wahaha.
I was surprise when the stopwatch stop at 75mins. Maybe i count wrongly. Anyway, what is important is that i clock the distance.
Evening time, i manage to do something i have been wanting to do for a long time. Run!
Came home first, before running to the stadium about a km away as warm up.
Did 8 sets of 400meters. Take it easy and completed it without too much stressed. Each lap about 123-125seconds on the 5th lane. Quite slow compare to last time, but i am glad i make a start.
Decide to take a slow walk back to cool down instead of running. Abit slack...okay lah...at least a start.
