red herring?

Red is suppose to attract attention. Sticking your Red short in front of a bull is asking for trouble(pain in the butt?). Or could be something interesting. :p

I was early at the pool so i stay at the car resting for a while. Just before i make a move to the pool. One plain clothes traffic warden(cisco) came to the carpark. Heng! I am still in the car! Waited for him to get away long enough before i set foot towards the pool.

Pacer uncle is at least 60meters in front of me when i started my swim. He almost caught up with me(maybe behind by 20 meters) as expected before he faded away behind.

There is this guy, around same age as i am that is wearing Red swim trunk. Swimming very close to me and around the same pace, so we swim together trying to get away from uncle pacer. Naturally i pick up the pace a bit to play with him.

It is actually an okay swim start for me. I feeling okay, abit sore on the upper body due to the weights session, but nothing to be alarm. But the feeling that i have did 2 workouts per day over the past 3 days tend to remind myself that i am not physically condition like few years back to get this kind of consistence workouts. So i have to take it easy and slowly moving along while clocking the mileage.

For whatever reason i am unaware of, Pacer uncle stop at 1.5km and the Red guy faded away soon. Damn and i am on my own. :( The good thing is that for unknown reason, the lanes become wider as more swimmers have stopped. So strange!

I think i slow down the pace as i seem to be able to relax and enjoy the swim much more. :p

At the end of the 3km, i felt pretty relax and have plenty left in the tank. Not to overdo it, packed up and head for shower. 76mins for this morning effort. Cool.

Couldn't make it to the track in the evening. Too much distraction at home. :(
