Not So Simple Run
I skip the swim in the morning. Trying to give the legs a bit more time to rest. Though the right leg isn't that bad.
It is the Zuok route this evening at CBD. I gonna skip the stairs and take an easy run to get myself warm up. That is my thought when i started off.
It didn't started that well. Leg seems heavy and the right leg seems to be still in recovery mode. Maybe it is the confident level, but i had worst day though and this supposedly a simple run becomes a chore.
Before i even reach harbourfront, i am thinking of U-turn and head back. From there onwards, it is just me on the run. The front guys are getting out of sight and the back(stop by traffic light) are not closing up. Sigh.
When i reached the traditional stop points, the front guys are already gone. So it is just me again on the road going at my own pace. I have to stop a few times to let the legs rest rather than taking my breath.
A bit strange. Even after a marathon event, i don't even walk during this kind of short run just a couple of days after the event. Why is it that i am in this tiring "shape"? And the fact, i have taken easy and didn't run that long! Maybe i am tired, but did not aware.
This looks bad to me. Something new to me again. Maybe age catching up, have to give more allowance for recovery.
About an hour run. Timing wise, seems okay. Why body in such a shape, puzzle me.
A Not So Simple Run.
