Aftermath
After the run on Sunday. I stayed a night at Genting. Meet up with the cyclist from SIN that did Fraiser Hill + Genting. How i wish i have joined them. But given my medical condition, it is more of a wishful thinking. Sigh.
The quads and calves are abit aching from Sunday run, which is rather disappointing given the fact it is just a 21km run. This show how bad the body condition is for the distance cum terrain. I will have to spent more time on the "speed humps" in the future. Given, we are gearing up for TNF, it shouldn't be much of an issue. Just gonna be long and abit challenging. :P
Monday has no workout as we make our way back to SIN. Tuesday morning, it was raining. Actually the mind just being weak. Guess a short rest wasn't that bad.
Tuesday evening head to CBD. The run up MF is not comfortable for myself. I doubt i am running fast(Garmin refuse to get a lock of the satellite), but i am feeling slight breathless and both the upper calves seems to be showing sign of tightness. Strange that i am experience some sort of discomfort. It shouldn't be.
I head up, slow and steady, up MF. Try to do at least a loop on the top, but as i ran about 100 meters down, i felt HR shot North. I take a reading and indeed it has stay North. No choice took a walk back to TP ASAP and hopefully can do some running along the way when it calm down.
Ah Cute legs are not feeling great, so we took the walk back together. It has been quite some time since we last have a chatting session. We manage to go under 10min pace for the rest of the distance.
Total time around 1:35hr for 5km run+5km walk.
Wednesday head to the gym as expected. Felt tired(maybe fatigue from the trip to KL) and decide i need to take a bit more slack. Skip the weights and head up the bike for a 50mins session. Struggling abit, but did manage to complete it.
Guess i better have a good rest this evening. *yawn*
