After a major event, the best thing could have happen is speedy recovery.
I am glad i finished the race in a decent "health". It could be worst.
Maybe i am just be conservative and have to brand a "walker" by many runners. Anyway, everyone walks from time to time, just a matter of how long. :p
I am blessed with 4 blisters on my left feet, 2 blisters on my right feet. A PB of blisters! Not to mention, how many black toe nails from this exercise.
It is not unexpected, as the feet get swollen pretty bad and by the first 20km, i wish i could have change to another pair of shoe. But i have to endure till almost 50km point. After changing at F2 support station. The feet hurts from the blisters cause by the change of socks+shoes. Ouch...
Expected injury and ache are there. Not as bad as IMA or after the 50km training run. Maybe the body has condition better. :p
Took a rest for a couple of days and today head to the gym.
Err on the caution side, decide to head up cross trainer for a 50mins session. A bit too easy for my taste. Nevermind, just go slow and get more rest.
I hope the recovery will be fast.
