One more week to KL Marathon
Guess i should be noting down my final preparation and what is and what ought not to do.
At this moment, i am more concern about injury than how well i do, tapering down and all sort of small stuffs.
Finger crossed that no injury at this moment. In fact, i am abit paranoid about injury. As i stretch during warming up, warming down or while starting of the run, or middle of the run. I am able to listen to my body better than let say 3 months ago and more so 1 year back.
It was one year ago when i attempt my first Marathon in KL 2005. 12 months later, with 2 marathons under my belt, i am gunning for my 3rd Marathon. I going back to KL for another marathon because it is my FIRST marathon and it holds good memory. Last marathon in SCSM 05 is a "bad" run for me, for many reasons.
What do i want from KL Marathon? i want....i want....a more relax run and appreciate the environment. No injury to report after KL Marathon.
I am a leisure runner. I run because i love it, not because of achieving better timing. If it comes with it, so be it. If it didnt so be it. Life still goes on. I look forward to see more familiar faces during KL Marathon. I would love to meet up with the KL Penguins, runwithme, pacesetters and my KL friends.
